@zxcv64 excellent advice, couldn't say it better! As for "generate enough income" goal - I recommend reading Debunking the "Trading Options forIncome" Myth Trading's goal is NOT generate income, despite what some "gurus" will claim. There is no such thing as income from trading. If you want steady and stable income, buy dividend stocks.

As a side note, as always, Google is your friend: SteadyOptions reviews https://steadyoptions.com/reviews/ https://www.stockgumshoe.com/reviews/steady-options/ https://investimonials.com/products/steadyoptions/ https://www.benzinga.com/money/best-options-newsletters/ No service comes even close in terms of customer satisfaction.

The Global Reset. By 2030, “You will own nothing, have zero privacy, eat bugs and be happy!”

But why they didn't charge it before, and why others don't charge it?
-
They say they are using a third party called Digital River. I'm curious what has changed, and why nobody else is charging it (I have several subscriptions).

On my last ONE renewal, I was charged 13% HST. Never happened before, and I don't think other companies do it. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Thank you @Ringandpinion Your example might be not the best one because we know that technically you are two people 😀 but yes, it does take a lot of effort. Like everything in life. Some people reach stage 4 and quit, others wiling to put the extra effort and reach stage 7.

SteadyOptions is in business for over 10 years. We have some members who are with us from the very beginning. I think it is safe to assume they wouldn't stay if they were not successful. Actions speak louder than words. But here is one - My Seven Stages of being an SO Member

I believe they will exercise your long calls automatically, but it's worth to ask the broker.

Those situations happen, but they are very rare. When it happens, calendars will profit and straddles/strangles will suffer. A more common situation is when the market estimates earnings on certain date, but the actual date is scheduled for a later date.

Hello Akroma, Regrading books - please take a look: Recommended reading The list is not updated, but it's a good start. Before dropping your day job, I would make sure that 1) you are consistently profitable for at least 2-3 years) 2) you are well capitalized. SteadyOptions periodically closes to new members to make sure we provide the best customer service to the existing members.

Member of the month award for November goes (again) to @Ringandpinion Typically I would prefer not to reward same members more than once, but just couldn't resist in this case.. It almost feels like he is two members, with all the content he is posting, so we can consider this reward goes to @Ringandpinion #2.. Thank you @Ringandpinion!!

SteadyOptions Bundles and Long Term Subscriptions
Humble replied to Humble's topic in Read This First
From the first post: Important note: you can upgrade from a single monthly service to a bundle at any time. To do it, just cancel the monthly subscription in PayPal and subscribe to the bundle through one of the above links 1-2 days before your monthly subscription renewal date. -
Gains are what ultimately drives profit, but keeping the losses at manageable levels is very important too. Keeping those losses at the manageable levels really factors in 2 things: The RV and historical performance analysis identifies trade candidates where larger losses are the exception - and it will take RV drops significantly higher than averages to cause the outsized loss (which unfortunately does happen from time to time). Risk vs Reward - the SO trades are structured so that they can easily make as much (or more) than they can lose, so its easier to recoup losses from losing trades. Trade structures where you risk $5 to make a max of $1 are those than can kill you when the stocks do the wrong thing and get you closer to that max loss level, so you need multiple winning trades to recover from one loser. @Yowster
