  1. Well, getting higher returns in a PM account is only useful if you use more margin. Which obviously increases your risk significantly as you need to increase the number of contracts or increase the number of trades.
  2. I'm not really familiar with what they do. Just took a look at their performance. While the winning ratio is high, most winners are very small, in 1-2% range. Also in some years the presented results are backtesting and not live results. My guess is they are trading very low delta naked puts or credit spreads.
  3. Looks like the member who posted the first comment is insisting to keep posting. For some reason I'm not able to post directly on Stock Gumshoe, so here is my reply: Dear S K, SteadyOptions produced triple digit returns in 6 out of 8 previous years. We encourage members to focus on our long term performance instead of one bad month. We know that some members join based on 8 years track record, but quit based on one bad month. Classic "buy high sell low" mentality. 6 months from now, they are going to feel a bit silly. I encourage "S K" (whoever you are) to post their comments and criticism here, instead of hiding behind their anonymity.
  4. @MaryPaananenThank you very much for posting a comment. This is exactly how members should use the service. And yes, I know Travis for many years and have a great respect for him and what he does. He is running an excellent resource.
  5. Someone posted an interesting comment on stockgumshoe: Unfortunately this is a mentality that I see too often when it comes to new members. They don't follow our recommendation to start with paper trading, try to jump into new trades from day one on order to "earn back the cost of the subscription", get frustrated and cancel. Of course our poor performance in January 2019 didn't help (as the same member mentioned, this was our worst month in 3 years). Some people expect it to be an ATM machine, and never have a losing month. Just doesn't work this way. So they join based on 7 years track record, but cancel based on one bad month. Same mentality that causes people to sell all their stock holdings in 2008, and watch the stock market triple in value in the next 10 years. As I mentioned many times, getting good fills is part of the learning process. Over time when members gain more experience, they learn how to get better fills. Many members started as complete novices and now they take the trades even before I do and get better results in some cases. But those things take time. Looking at discussion topics, we can see that 80%+ of the trades can be entered at prices lower than the official price. I mention those cases on a daily basis. If any of you wants to reply to this stockgumshoe comment, you are welcome to do it.
  6. Please welcome two new mentors @krisbeeand @rasar I'm sure most our members know those two members very well. They helped hundreds of members, are well respected in our community - we just making their status "official".

They are comparable. Each system has its pros and cons. SM is more diversified. Anchor will perform better if the strong bull market continues.

We don't reveal the exact numbers. But we always keeping an eye on the numbers, to make sure our members get the best possible service. As a reminder, the 4 service bundle still grants membership to Steady Options.

Our phenomenal success has resulted in a significant increase in demand for the service, and as such we closed the service to new members. Our performance is based on real fills. We put our money where our mouth is. We execute all trades that we share with members in our personal accounts. Those are live accounts trading real money. If you lose, we lose too. When you profit, we profit too. Our members know that we are committed to provide superior personal service. We personally respond to each email and each forum post. At certain number of members, we will not be able to do it. Also, as our client base grows, we feel that we are fast approaching a point where some of the options we trade do not offer enough liquidity for more subscribers to successfully enter the trades. We would like to continue to maintain this level of customer service and make sure there is enough liquidity for our existing members. To ensure this happens we have decided to close our service to new subscribers. We maintain a waiting list and offer spots as they become available.
  15. Your screenshot shows 10 contracts.
  16. Please welcome our new mentor @luxmon He has been with us since 2013, decided to take a break and recently re joined Creating Alpha. @luxmon will be responsible for mentoring on the Creating Alpha forum at this point.
  17. I hope so too. But last month we had a 20%+ drawdown. If you had double number of contracts, your account would be down almost 50%. Are you willing to accept that kind of drawdown? Remember: to recover from a 50% drawdown you need a 100% gain.
  18. You know that leverage works both ways, right?
  19. CMLviz has thousands of happy customers. This topic alone has over 1,700 posts, where members shared dozens winning trades based on the backtesting. I'm pretty sure it's more than just a toy. P.S. VXX has been replaced with VXXB, you can do full backtesting of VXXB.
  20. The $99 price already includes the discount. But I will let @Ophir Gottlieb to clarify.
  21. $99/month and the price is expected to continue increasing as new features are added. As usually, early adapters made a very decision. There is a members only topic with over 1,700 posts. Our members are killing it using the tool.
  22. I agree with @Ophir Gottlieb I have been using the tool for about 2 years now, each time I thought I found a bug I contacted their customer service and it turned out to be something in my configuration. Customer support has been really good. New features are being added all the time. I think at current prices, it's a bargain. I wouldn't be surprised to see the price double.
  23. Once the topic is created, it has the title. Changing it would be very confusing for members.
  24. 1) I'm not sure this is feasible, might cause a lot of confusion. All Trades emails are time sensitive. 2) Every topic has a title, same one for new topics and replies, but the email says if it's a new topic or a reply.
