Broker did not allow uneven spread option trade

I was trying to follow a trade that asked for selling 2 puts and buying 1 call (or vice versa) but when I selected 'SPREAD' with my broker (Merrill Edge) it wouldn't allow 2 and 1.  It only allowed 2 and 2. 

Am I doing something wrong?
